The Lady Who Was Afraid to Love: A love story pt. 1

The Lady

And in one silent night,
cold and whispery is the Wind,
she leans by the window pane,
with a novel in her hand
eyes fixed to every words written
and her pointy finger, moved along those words
affirming everything she read…
she misses him
but what she misses actually is herself
as she knows that her life is incomplete
but she makes believe, that everyone feel the same way.
Little that she knows,
some, had found a complete life.
Little that she knows
life, though hard to be content most of the time,
it can be completed.
But one has to take chances and face the risk
because good things never come free
as a complete life can only be found
behind every door that waits to be open.
Yet, she let her fear takes the best of her
and only through her novels
she experience the best of Love…
without realizing that what she did was wishing,
wishing that she could have the same life
where love roam free and fulfil her needs and
feelings…
Where love is poetry
that reflects her beauty…
Life is good but she never imagines it could be great…
and with that she kills off her dreams and herself.
She kills any hope of getting a better person to love her…
as she believes Dinners and Diapers solutes everything
when actually she was afraid of the future that could be better.
Time continues to flow
Pages of stories read.
She argued with herself.
She forced herself to accept her fate.
She forced herself to believe that this is the best she could get.
So she walks the usual steps…
Hoping that someday her man will eventually be the man she had wished for…
when actually she hold the power to change her fate…
but she was afraid…
as she believes that fairytale love exist only in pages
only in paperback and can never come true…
no, she will someday see…
